About Me

Hello, My Name Is Rebecca

Rebecca Chapman

My 11-year old self thought that one day I would be Shania Twain, especially when I was running around in leopard-print jumpsuits singing for thousands of people.

Thankfully, I have ditched the spandex and learned a lot since then.  My guitar is still one of my greatest friends and a well-crafted song is one of my biggest joys, but no longer do I find inspiration in relationship drama.  As a newly-married sappy-in-love wife, I’m learning to find inspiration for songs, stories, and blog posts in the other excitements of life.

I’m a book nerd, coffee addict, and a proud Crohn’s Disease battler.  I’m a movie-obsessed animal lover that has way too many penguin stuffed animals. I believe that humor can be found in even the most challenging circumstances and that’s what I strive to do with this little slice of the internet of mine.

I would love to hear from you!  If you want to say hello, visit my Contact Page or stop by any one of my social media outlets.

    • Hi Carolyn! Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello! It’s great to have you!

  • It’s ok that you didn’t turn out to be Shania 😉 Glad to get to know you a little better, I’m saying hello from our BL group. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog!

    • I think things worked out the way they were suppose to! Thank you for coming to say hello! I’m looking forward to getting to know you better also!

  • Who didn’t wear jump suits in their pre-teen years haha! I have way too many embarrassing pictures from those years. I wanted to be Britney Spears from the Baby one more time days. I loved learning a little more about you. So glad you’re apart of this lifestyle tribe!

    • I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one with questionable fashion sense in my early years. Hopefully someone has burned all my embarrassing photos. 😉
      Thank you for stopping by!

  • I’m kind of late to the party but I’m commenting from the Lifestyle Tribe . Hey Rebecca! I vote that you get a leopard print adult onesie.. to replace the spandex leotard from your pre-teen years…because we all need some animal print in our lives.

    • I still do love me some animal print. And onesies are always cozy!
