She has
performed for national fund-raisers, including Toys for Tots,
St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, and The
Nuclear Peace Age Foundation. She also performs for local non-profits,
such as Christmas Unity and SAGE (School Arts and Gifts in Education)
in California.
Appearances
Rebecca
has appeared with, Jessica Andrews, Steve Azar, John Berry, Clint
Black, Paul Brandt, Daisy Dern, Kenny Loggins, Dave Mason, Mark
McGuinn, Jim Messina, Olivia Newton-John, Glen Phillips, and Chalee
Tennison. She performs with her own bands "Rebecca Chapman & The
Lost Cowboys" (New Traditionalists), and "Rebecca Chapman & Most
Wanted" (Hot Country). She also performs the National Anthem at
rodeos and nationally televised sporting events.
Song
Writing
Rebecca
is an award-winning songwriter in her own right, and has won songwriter
honors in the California Country Music Association. In the California
Country Music Association she won the coveted Song of the Year
and Songwriter of the Year Awards for 2001. She writes with others
nationally via computer and mail, and locally with Joe Ferrario,
Kenny Warren and others. At the Country Radio Seminar 2002 in
Nashville, Tennessee, her music was played for a panel of record
company executives in the new artist workshop and has been picked
up by major record labels for review. In addition her songs have
received national radio airplay. In addition two songs she co-wrote
with Joe Ferrario and Kenny Warren have also won songwriting awards.
Radio
She has
been on a radio tour and has played live on several stations,
including K-Lite 101.7, KKSB 106.3 and KEYT 1250 in Santa Barbara;
KHAY 100.7 in Ventura, KRAZ in Santa Ynez, KSON in San Diego and
KSNI 102.3 in Santa Maria. Her music has been receiving national
airplay.
Newspaper
Rebecca
has been featured in the Youth Spotlight section of the Santa
Barbara News-Press in December 1999, and in July 2001; The Montecito
Journal May 16, 2000; The Santa Barbara Independent August 31,
2000. Most recently she was featured in the Santa Barbara News-Press
on July 29, 2001 for her performance in the "Buckaroos At The
Bowl" at the Santa Barbara Bowl.

Rebecca
has appeared in Critter Gitters (Nationally), The David Fuentes
Show (Los Angeles), KEYT News Channel 3 (Santa Barbara), and the
Christmas Unity Telethon on KEYT Channel 3 (Santa Barbara). She
appears in the nationally released movie "The Fourth Tenor."
Theater
Her theater
credits include Princess Ying-Yaolak in PCPA's "The King & I."
She also played Marta in "The Sound of Music" for the Santa Barbara
Civic Light Opera, and also appeared as a princess in their version
of "The King & I."
Awards
Rebecca
holds the titles of Female Entertainer of the Year and Female
Vocalist of the Year for the Youth Division of the California
Country Music Association. She also won Youth Songwriter of the
Year for her song "Time's Running Out On You." The California
Country Music Association awarded her song "The Same Routine"
Youth Song of the Year. Her self-titled album "Rebecca Chapman"
was voted Album of the Year in California for 2001, and she competed
at the national level in Tennesse in March 2002, where her CD
was named "Most Promising Album of the Year."
